It started as one driver doing the Rishikesh to Badrinath run — sometimes twice a week in summer. No website, no brand, just a number saved in a few phones. People came back the next season and brought their parents, their friends, their colleagues planning a Char Dham. That's how Pahadi Express grew: not through ads, but through people saying “call this number, they'll sort you out.”

The team is small on purpose. Everyone here is from the hills — Rishikesh, Chamoli, Joshimath. When you're sitting in the car somewhere above Devprayag and the driver points out a waterfall most tourists never notice, that's not a rehearsed line. He drove past it every week for ten years before he started doing this. That kind of knowledge doesn't come from a travel guide.

We added treks, then packages, then the Hypershell exoskeleton — because a guest asked if there was any way her 68-year-old father could do the Valley of Flowers trail. There usually wasn't. Now there is. That's how we make decisions: someone has a real need, we figure out whether we can meet it honestly, and if we can, we add it. If we can't, we say so and point you somewhere that can.
