About this route
The full corridor ride — from the Ganga banks in Rishikesh to the Badrinath temple at 3,133m. This is the backbone of Char Dham yatra. You'll pass through five prayags (river confluences), climb from plains to snow line, and arrive at one of India's holiest shrines. The drive is long but the views — Devprayag sangam, Nanda Devi range, the Alaknanda valley — make it worth every hour.
