Pahadi photography walk
Golden-hour shoots at the sangam, village portraits, a night under the stars with your camera. Led by a local photographer.
Sample itinerary
Day by day
Day 1Rishikesh — golden hour
You meet your group and guide at Triveni Ghat an hour before sunset. The Ganga aarti begins at dusk — fire, flowers, bells on water — and you shoot alongside a local photographer who knows where to stand, what to wait for, and how to read the changing light. Dinner together, gear review, early night.
Meet 5 pm at Triveni Ghat, Rishikesh. Ganga aarti shoot.
Day 2Devprayag — the confluence
A 90-minute drive to Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet to form the Ganga. The sangam has one of the most photographed sight lines in Uttarakhand — two rivers, different colours, merging. Your guide takes you to the less-visited angles: the ancient Raghunath temple steps, the rooftops, the downstream view at the turn. Afternoon is village portraits.
Full day at Devprayag. Meals included.
Day 3Village portraits + night under stars
A morning among the lanes — faces, doors, hands, animals, textures. Your guide introduces you to residents who are used to photographers and easy to be around. The afternoon is editing time and reflection. As night falls, you move to a clearing above town: milky way overhead, mountains in silhouette, your cameras pointed up.
Night shoot setup provided. Return to Rishikesh next morning.
